Loctician, Bristol resident, and founder of both Vichi Locs and IJE Hair Growth & Skin Care. My work is rooted in one belief: that healthy locs and healthy hair start with the right knowledge, the right technique, and ingredients you can trust.
From her own journey to yours
Destiny started her own loc journey years before she ever picked up a loc tool professionally. Like many people, she spent time searching for someone who truly understood the craft — the science of tension, the patience a loc needs at each stage, the difference between a retwist that builds healthy locs and one that slowly causes damage. That search, and the gaps she found along the way, became the foundation of Vichi Locs.
Based out of her studio in Leigh Woods, Bristol, Destiny now specialises in Sisterlocks, Freeform locs, Traditional locs, Instant locs, Loc extensions, and Retwists — serving clients across Bristol and the surrounding areas. Her approach is methodical and calm: she takes time at every consultation to understand your hair history, your texture, and your goals before a single loc is touched.
